So so sorry to hear of Carole's passing. Such a lady. A bundle of energy, she was interested in everyone and everything. She gave so much of her time to others. I have the best of memories from my time in San Francisco and trips to Whitegate. Sincere condolences to Kevin, Emily and all the Clarkes and O'Neill's at this time.

I am so saddened to hear of Carole's passing. I was lucky to share Carol's company when we attended 2 adult education programmes in Scariff. During our horticulture course she brought in many cuttings from her rose garden to share with all her fellow class mates. I will remember her fondly each time I see that rose bloom. Rest in peace Carole.

Carol, you touched so many people with your kindness, wonderful character and beautiful smile. You crept into our lives and we welcomed you with open arms. You enriched the lives of everyone you touched and you gave more than you took. Your legacy will be your remarkable spirit which will stay with us forever.

Our hearts broke when we learned that Carole had passed. She was a beautiful soul, full of life, love and sunshine. We are so grateful for all of the fun times we shared over the years. The memories are priceless and we will miss her terribly. She was simply the best! Our condolences to her family and all of the friends that loved her.

On behalf of the community of Whitegate, I wish to sincerely sympathise with all who mourn the passing of Carole. She was an extraordinary woman, full of life with an enquiring mind, always wondering how our community could be enriched. She sat for several years on Whitegate Community Council and for a newcomer to the area she certainly made a difference. Carole welcomed everyone to her home and in particular to her lakeside property where she enthralled us at 4am to listen to the dawn chorus on the Sunday mornings of the May Bank Holiday weekend from 2011 to 2015 and later that day she was the official photographer at the annual Pony Races across the fields from Williamstadt, a role which she took so seriously. Carole will be sadly missed in our community, May she rest in eternal peace. 🙏

I am feeling the pain and loss of one of my oldest and most memorable friends in Ireland. She was always so much fun to be around, and she always made myself and everyone she met feel so special, but, as we all know, she was the special one. We always said we would grow old together, and it breaks my heart she was taken so young.
My family and I will never forget her humour, her warmth, and especially her kindness. Rest in peace, my friend.

We are heartbroken to learn of Carole's passing. From the moment we drove into the courtyard at Williamstadt house and met Carole six years ago, we knew we had stumbled upon a magical place, created with love by a most wonderful person. Our family was forever changed by the days and evenings we spent chatting, listening to music, hiking through the woods, and watching our children play with puppies and feed chickens and donkeys, year after year. We are so grateful to have seen her just 7 weeks ago, when she somehow had the energy to take us on yet another new adventure. Thank you, Kevin and Emilie, for sharing Carole and her endless positivity with everyone who arrived on your doorstep. May her memory be a blessing to us all. Much love from Chicago.
