My heartfelt condolences to Pat, Barry, Arlene and the extended O' Connor and Hearne families on the loss of a beautiful lady. I had the privilege of working with Carole in UHW. We bonded over our shared love of animals and had many a chat (and even shed a tear or two) when we spoke of the latest episode of Supervet. She even made a habit of giving me treats for my own pets from time to time. Carole had a heart of gold and looked after everyone she met so well, including my own Mam who had a long stay in Medical 1 some years back. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
