Dear Sharon, my heart goes out to you. I’m so sorry for your loss. I have many, happy, childhood memories of spending time with you, Caroline and Finola. I remember a ‘midnight feast’ at your home in Dungarvan with Caroline. Going ice-skating at Bayswater ice rink (getting separated on the tube in London), and 3 of us sharing a bed at Uncle Pats in Neasden (Caroline spread out like a star in the middle, with myself and Finola squeezed out to the sides). There were many other moments, including on the farm at Granny’s, but these ones stuck out. I’m so sorry I won’t be able to be there on Wednesday, but you will be in my thoughts. When I heard that Caroline had died my heart sunk.
Caroline Power was a stunning looking girl her smile lit a room her cheeks her soft voice she was beautiful. She had a legion of admirers, she had everything friendly happy and a word that will always be associated with Caroline, Beautiful, inside and out.

Youth Club Discos and School days is where my friendship with Caroline began, brilliant times. She loved music, books but most of all she loved U2.

I only met Caroline once since secondary school and that was in the shopping centre 2 years ago where she was heading off to meet her life long wonderful friend Carmel Moloney.
To Sharon, the matriarch the protector the helper since your mam died my sincere condolences. I am very sorry for your loss. To her extended family and friends my condolences.

Caroline was often fondly in my thoughts but will remain and forever be in my prayers.
God bless and take care of you Caroline, there is no doubt your Mam will be waiting to greet you at the top of the queue with Fionnuala at her coattails when you enter through the gates of heaven.
