Caroline, was a member of Raheny badminton club for over 10 years. She played on league and cup teams and was hugely popular team member who was always trying to improve her game. Even when she stopped playing due to injury a couple of years ago, Caroline still came to support games in Baldoyle and was a regular at almost all of our social functions. You always knew when Caroline was there because of her glamorous style and her infectious sense of fun. Many of us will remember her for her legendary blonde moments – some deliberate, some unintentional but all of them hilarious.
Caroline was also one of the most generous club members you could have. She spent part of the year in her lovely home in Spain where she invited friends and family to stay. Many of us will have very happy memories of being with her in the sun, where she had become part of the local community.
Caroline will be enormously missed by all who knew her. It was a privilege to have her as a member of Raheny badminton club. As a mark of respect our club closed on Wednesday 27th Nov. Our prayers and with Donal, David, Celine, Sharon and Noel. RIP
