Dear Miriam & Susan , our deepest sympathy to you both on the death of your mum Carrie.

To Susan and Miriam, I was saddened to learn of the passing of your dear mother. Carrie was always cheerful and friendly, and both herself and her late husband (and your father), John Scanlan, were always hospitable to me when I worked in AIB Kanturk in the mid 80s. Hopefully, the many happy memories that you had with your parents will sustain you for many years to come. May she rest in peace.

My deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved mom- now she is reunited with her beloved John love.

I will always remember their warmth and kindness and generosity as second parents to me on my visits to Ireland. They were the most wonderful people, and will be remembered always.

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Carrie. She was a lovely, gentle lady who looked after her husband and family to the fullest. I had the great honour and pleasure of treating John for several years in Kenmare and the three of us had many disussions (and disagreements). They were both wonderful and I always looked forward to their appointments. They will be sorely missed. Sincere and deeply offered condolences.
