My Sincere Condolences to all the Mac Devitt family on the sad passing of Brugha. Great memories of my Tech Days in Abbey Road, Navan in the 1960's, where he was principal of a new school that was a pleasure to attend.
May he rest in peace after a long life well and truly lived.

So sorry to hear of your loss

We were very sad to have learned of cousin Brugha's passing. I literally had the pleasure of knowing him all my life as he lodged with us in Dublin when he was a student, the house was new and I was a baby.
He often said to me since that I just sat there and cried !.
Later he used to 'rendevouz' there with the love of his life Mary. Having met up with all his wonderful family at the funeral and learning more about his life, I once again just felt like sitting down and having a good cry. - Ciaran Ó Maonaigh

Sincere sympathy to Mary and to the McDevitt Family and extended families on the death of Brugha. Brugha was great person and a staunch patron and supporter of Donegal GAA. I recall the unreal events and fantastic social occassions that was organised in Navan in 1992, the year that Donegal won their first All-Ireland. Brugha was to the forefront of the organising team. He was truely a great friend and always had a story or two to tell. May he rest in peace.

Brugh was my principal in Navan Tech, Abbey Road in the 1970's. It was my first teaching job and I have many fond memories of Brugh, the staff and students. Brugh was a committed educator and lover of the Gaelic language. May he Rest in Eternal Peace. To his family condolences.
