Folks, it is with a heavy heart I write this note to you all from Jamaica.
While Cathal, Cristina and I were work colleagues we also had other connections.
Firstly, Cathal and I shared same birthday and I had the honour of making him a cake once and singing happy birthday with the girls and friends.
Additionally, some fruit cakes left these shores and went to Donegal for Christmas and I hear they were be enjoyed by all.
Cathal will be missed by many people and leave a large gap.
My deepest sympathies are sent to you all at this time upon the loss of your husband, father, son, brother and in-law.
