Cathal Lynch

Just heard of the passing of Cathal, my deepest sympathy to Cathal’s family and friends on his passing. I met him at many St Maelruan’s school games and Thomas Davis games, an absolute gentleman and always we would have a word, he was a true GAA man and his passing is a terrible loss to the community but most of all to his family. A gentleman , may God bless you my friend , Cathal May you Rest In Peace.

My condolences to Cathals Family, he was a true role model as a mentor & volunteer to the community of Dublin 24.

Cathal was one of those people you meet in life that always had a smile and left you feeling happy after meeting him. So sorry to hear of his passing. Mentored opposite Cathal for 10 yrs and loved bumping into him on pitches in Dublin and in Healy Park. Sincere sympathy to all of Cathal’s family. A true gent and Gael.

Sorry to hear of Cathal passing. A tremendous driving force behind so many teams in Thomas Davis. An incredible worker. If Cathal was running a team, we knew it would do well as he would foster a great love of the game in all players. His teams always retained players and that's a measure of the type of guy he was, popular with everyone who came his way. Condolences to his family in Dublin and Tyrone.

My sincerest condolences to the lynch family on the passing of Cathal. He looked after the intermediate team for a few years in Thomas Davis that I was a member of and I always remember him being a man of integrity, honesty who always encouraged. The other abiding memory being his son Rian always hanging from his back pocket at training and games. May he rest in peace.
