Cathal Mac Oireachtaigh (Karl Geraghty)

Have just recently heard of the loss to the community and family of this talented and kind-hearted man. Reading through the condolences I have learned a little more about him. I was so sorry to hear of the passing of such a lovely man, his guitar playing was incredible, and he had such a lovely passion and way singing a song. I'm truly saddened, my thoughts are with his many friends and of course his loving family. May he rest in peace.

Cathal was across the corridor from me and we had great chats and banter every Tuesday night! We had many a great tune together. An absolute gentleman and very talented musician. I am very sorry to hear of Karl's death. I very much enjoyed his playing and singing. He will be sadly missed.

I remember Karl from our schooldays in St. Kilian's in the nineties he was always such a friendly humble guy, music mad and super intelligent not surprised at all he ended up in teaching.
