Dear Dad, it is so hard to think you are not around to be able to talk to, to phone and laugh together. You are in my heart and I will always remember a father I truely love. It is true that the love of a parent for their child is the one truely unconditioned love that exists as is the love of a child for their parent - no conditions, no misgivings, no grudges just love. No matter what age we are, we are always a child for our parents, and our parents will always be so for us. I pray for you, and I pray to you to continue to love us all and look after us. The world is a bit emptier without you. Thanks for the example of your life, and the dignity with which you faced your death. I pray that you are now truely happy and will, from heaven guide us.
