I remember him at Ballyhaise Agricultural college Co Cavan in the late 1960s as a student. He played gaelic football for the local team while studying there and was one of the most gifted players of his generation. A very talented guy.

He was a lovely footballer and was lost to Ardara GAA at an early age through emigration.
