I was shocked and saddened to hear of Cathal's passing. Cathal worked very closely with Teagasc over many years, including acting as a demonstration farmer on various projects. I was taken with Cathal's thirst for knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for farming, and his drive. I enjoyed a call from Cathal, as I was always challenged with his questions. May he rest in peace.
