End of an era! The garden bench where many discussions, stories and recounts of life were had will now need a new purpose. Cathal was our neighbour forever in my mind and very much the fabric of Barrettstown. My kids knew of him for years before they met him and loved wandering over, the cats, the combine harvesters, the chats, all of it! He was a colourful character and an amazing storyteller, second to none.
