Sadly ,I only learnt of Cathal’sdeath recently. Sincere condolence to all who mourn especially Kay Sheamus and Mary. Happy memories of past times in Carnew Requiescat in pace Carhal.

He was an energetic man in his day, and his visits to Lankill when I was a child were always a highlight. He was very highly regarded by his uncle Charlie. I remember him fondly as being a warm & funny cousin, with an alert brain.

So sorry to hear of Cathal’s passing. My sincere sympathy to Kay, Willie, Jenny, Eoin, Aisling, Cathal and all your extended family. I have great memories of working with Cathal at the Vet Dept. CCC. He was a great friend, kind, helpful and hospitable. After he returned to Mayo, it was always a pleasure to see him when he called to the office, while on a visit to Cork. I regret it was not possible for me to attend his funeral. May Cathal Rest In Peace.
