To Sam, Egans, and Deegans,

I’ve held off writing because I honestly didn’t know how to put words around such a loss. I still don’t — there’s no perfect sentence for something this heartbreaking.

What I can say is this: she was deeply loved. By so many. And she had that rare gift of bringing joy into a room in an instant.

My love to all the Egans and Deegans, and especially to Sam and his lovely fiancée, and of course, Bronn. I’m holding you all close in my thoughts, and may the lovely Catherina rest in peace ❤️

My deepest condolences to Phil , Sam and all the family . I only heard the news last night and it’s such a sad loss to all who knew her and her great laugh .I worked for a few years with Catherina and she was such fun to be around and also so professional in her work .
I can still see her climbing over the low wall at Camillus ahead of me as we had it timed perfectly to get there on time since we both lived so near it . May you rest in peace Catherina.

Sending love to your family Catherina. The world is a duller place without you, one of its brightest of lights. What a minx you were. Always making us laugh with your stories (Cnoc na Labhras and on FB) and always some mischief brewing. Whatever did happen to that tuckshop key? I remember in school once you threw a rubber and it went straight down my throat and the choking and tears were from laughing at the accuracy of the shot. Despite not having met in person since school, we kept in touch via messenger and FB. What a special, gorgeous person we have all lost way too soon. Slan abhaile my friend.
