I am deeply saddened by Catherine's sudden passing and offer her immediate and extended family as well as her friends my sincerest sympathy. She was a very special person to all who met with her and in Microsoft we will dearly miss her. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
Catherine was an exceptional personality: Smart and fast thinking, analytical and results driven. At the same time she had a big heart and she was always looking at the family and human side of things as well. It was a great pleasure to working with her and sharing thoughts on a work but personal level as well.
Catherine will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful person full of vitality and laughter. My thoughts & prayers are with you.
Deepest and sincerest condolances to Mike and your family for your loss. Catherine was a bright a cheerful soul who shone all too briefly.
Dear Cath - there are just no words. Remembering your beautiful smile and positive spirit. Sending love and strength to your children, husband and family. Sweet dreams x
Dearest Michael, Caitlin, Aidan, Christopher, Denise, Patrick and David. I am so sorry for your incredible loss. I don’t have the words to tell you how sorry how I am or how much I’m going to miss Catherine myself.

In my life Catherine has left a massive gap where her inspirational energy, great heart and sharp mind used to be. Catherine was my mentor and my friend. I loved her deeply for so many reasons. Most of all because she was always herself. Whatever she did, she did it with her best intentions so I knew I could trust her and I did. Catherine added value to every conversation I ever had with her. In every conversation I had with her we always talked about her family. She loved her family fiercely and always wanted to do the best she could for her children.

Catherine you know how much I will miss our time together and how much I will miss our conversations. There has never been a time where I have not looked forward to and enjoyed the time we spent together. Please know how much I love you and how much value you added to my life and how much I will miss you forever.
All my thoughts accompany you during this extremely painful ordeal. Our ways crossed at work and I feel privileged having met Catherine, such a wonderful, brilliant and generous person who will be always present in our hearts.
I had the privilige to work with Catherine as one of her direct colleagues in her previous Leadership Team in CSS. I will remember Catherine as a pure and warm person. She has been a great inspiration to me learning the people manager's role. I cannot express how sad I feel about her sudden death. My thoughts go out to her family and close friends and I wish them a lot of strength to cope with this unreplacable loss.
Thinking of you all. xx
We both worked with Catherine during her time in Microsoft - what a wonderful woman in everyway. Our thoughts are with you all at this time. Louise and Craig
To Cath family,
I had the priviledge to work closer with Catherine during a couple of months in 2011 and in no time I could feel how a GREAT and SMART LADY she was. I am sure Cath will continue to inspire and support you beyond death as my recent experiences with death of beloved ones has demonstrated the power of spiritual presence.
May this Amerindian poem extract (badly translated from French ) support you :

We will not be separated for a time!
Let the memories ease your pain!
I'm not far away and life goes on!
If you need me, call me and I will come!
Even if you can not see me or touch me, I'll be there, and if you listen to your heart, you feel clearly the sweetness of love that I will

Not going to cry over my grave, I'm not there, I do not sleep!
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the sparkle of snow crystals,
I am the light that passes through the wheat fields,
I am the gentle autumn rain,
I am the awakening of the birds in the morning calm,
I am the star that shines at night

Isabelle
Catherine, it's a privilege that I had the chance to work with you. It is moving to see how many hearts and hands you have touched in your life that has ended so unexpectedly. They all, including me, will not forget how much passion and heartiness you brought to our all lives every day. Thank you so much. My thoughts are with your family during this time of grief.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Cath's family and loved ones. I cannot find the words to express my sadness at her passing but I feel privileged to have known and worked with and for her. Cath was such a special person with so much to give that she will be hugely missed by all that knew her and whose lives she touched. RIP Cath. x
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will always remember the good times Catherine and I shared throughout our schooldays - what a wonderful person she was, and what a tragic loss.
As an ex-colleague of Catherine, I'd just like to wish her family and friends the strength and ability to accept her loss, as understanding why such a wonderful person could leave us in this way, far too soon, doesn't seem possible.
All our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, colleagues and friends. It was a real pleasure to work with and know you. Lots of smiles, very professional, hardworking and a fantastic person. You are missed.
I feel blessed to have met Catherine who was the most positive and smilley person I know. All my thoughts are with Catherine's family.
Catherine will always be in my memory as a gracious and kind lady. My thoughts are with her family.
All my thoughts are with your family, loved ones and colleagues.
My thoughts are with your family and loved ones. I will remember the smiles and laughter we shared and will cherish that memory.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I won't forget your support and our' Cat and Kitten' chats at the tea station. It has been a privilege to know you, even though short and to have been hired by such a great Spirit and Manager.
Michael ,Caitlin and Aidan .So very sad when I received the news of Catherine's passing.I had the honour of working with and for :-) Cath for 2 years .Her passion, energy and most of all her advice and support as a colleague were of great value then and still continue to be and will be sorely missed....

When my Mum passed away I took (and still do) take great consolation from the following:

If I should go tomorrow
It would never be goodbye,
For I have left my heart with you,
So don't you ever cry.
The love that's deep within me,
Shall reach you from the stars,
You'll feel it from the heavens,
And it will heal the scars.

With condolences and love
Pat

We are thinking of you all and send you lots of love.
All my thoughts are with your family, we will all miss your smile so much.
People always leave, eventually, no matter how much you don't want them too. That’s why you have to enjoy them while they’re here......it doesn't matter how much time you spend with someone, it's the fact that you spent time with them at all that’s important. Night Catherine xx
My thoughts are with your family. I won't forget your smile it was contagious. I will miss you.
