Catherine and I were in Muckross together and I was sadden to hear of her sudden passing. She was a lovely person and always full of chat whenever our paths crossed over the years since leaving school.

Catherine was a colleague of mine when working in Ireland and I have the fondest memories of her. She was such a gem. Full of fun and activity, she was able to put things with a few words into perspective, unravel chaos and stay calm. Even on the busiest days she had time for friendly encouraging words and smiles. She will be hugely missed by all that met her. My thoughts will be with you all during this difficult time.

Catherine was a beloved member of our Nautilus diving family. She was fearless, dedicated and great fun. I loved her company. Catherine was a colleague in Leinster House and always fun to be with. We enjoyed many happy time's as a group of 6 ,and called ourselves Ladies Who Lunch. I am going to really miss our discussions on the implications of “Project 2025” on American democracy, and of course our chats about national politics too over a flask of hot coffee after our cold swims in Seapoint. I think its fair comment to say we both were two “political junkies”!
