My dear friend Sarah, I’m so sorry that your mam has passed. There wasn’t a time that when we chatted or met up that you didn’t talk about your parents but in particular your precious Mam, you spoke about her so lovingly and I know she was a huge part of your life, you adored her. All the times you rang for a chat while you were driving to see her for a cuppa and when you reached her house it was always … I’ll go now I’m just at my mams! The afternoon tea for her recent birthday, the chats and laughs. She never afraid to tell you when something didn’t suit you and you’d laugh when you’d tell me about it! Saying, only a mammy would be that blunt!’ These are all wonderful memories. She couldn’t have wished for a better daughter. I’m certain she was so proud of you. Hold on to all those memories, laughs and chats you had and they will see you through this tough time and beyond.
