I never had the pleasure of meeting Catherine, but got to know her through our regular lovely Twitter interactions on all things Donegal. I was shocked and truly saddened to hear of her sudden passing much too young. Sincere condolences to Mairead and John (whom I have met) to her husband and all who loved her. May She Rest in Peace. She will be missed even by those she never met.

To Catherine’s husband family extended family and wide circle of friends. I only knew Catherine from my visits to the BOI Branch in Letterkenny. Her friendly smile is what I can remember and her caring nature. May she rest in peace.

We knew Catherine through social media where she was an advocate for those of us with disabilities and we would chat about access in Letterkenny and around Donegal.
