Catherine was very generous with her time and talent to me as a beginner golfer in Rush G.C. With her peers she laid the foundations for a strong ladies section at the club. She was pragmatic, worked hard for the Rush community and was always lovely company. Condolences to her family.

Catherine has been a huge part of Rush Golf Club over the years, as Lady Captain in 1953 and President in 2004.

Condolences to Catherine's family on her death. Catherine was a remarkable, honourable Rush woman, who quietly and determinedly saved her town's heritage amongst which was the Portico in St. Catherine's when Kenure House was sadly demolished and it was all we had left. We also have the unique building that is home to Rush Library today because of Catherine's quiet steel persistence, making it her mission with others to keep that old church building. We are privileged to have called her a friend down all the long years of her life. May she rest in peace.
