To all Doris's family, my cousins, my sincerest apologies as I have only now on 3 Feb 2022 learned of her passing. She was a great woman, full of practical good sense and wry observations and I enjoyed the odd cuppas over the years when I'd call in after Uncle Jack died. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
Heartfelt sympathy to the O'Connell families on the sad passing of Doris. Fond memories of Jack & Doris visiting our grandmother Peg O'Connell in Glensharold, Carrickerry, Co Limerick and our Mom Moira Broderick (née O'Connell) in Duagh, Listowel. May she rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Mary and Jack, whom Doris adored, Kevin, Bernard, Paul, Gerard and all the O'Connell and Meaghar families. Doris was a great neighbour for over forty years. Until she went into the nursing home I could drop in to her for a cup of tea and a chat. Even as her body became frail her spirit remained as strong as ever and her sense of humour and fun never faltered. Ní fheicfhimíd a leithéid arís ann. I will really miss her.

Dear Mary and Kevin and your brothers ,I’m so very sorry for your loss.Your mum was a lovely neighbour and friend to our family ,a great woman to live next door to .Fergal and Gareth and I were remembering her with great affection on Friday when we heard the news of her death.Doris and your dad were so good to Claddagh our dog!
