We are very sad to hear of Catherine’s passing. Our prayers are with her family. We only just heard of her passing and are disappointed not to have been there for her. X

My sincere condolences to all of Catherine's family, especially to Tina & Joe & Kane, Ryan and Emily. I was so sorry to hear the sad news about Catherine. She was such a lovely lady. We often chatted when we met at the shop. She remembered minding my little girl at the creche. She was so full of love for you all and so proud of you.
May she rest with the angels and be at peace, with no more suffering now.

My condolences to Martin especially and all of Catherine's daughters, sons, Siblings and her extended family members.

Myself and my wife Crystal and our children had the privilege of meeting and becoming friends with Catherine.
She was so generous to our family.
Her whole family were so kind to us also. I wish to thank all of you for your generosity to us as well.

Her faith was inspiring to us.
What amazed me the most about her was her acceptance of death and her fearlessness in meeting it. I have never seen anyone meet death with such courage and fearlessness.
As Fr Shane so eloquently put it in his eulogy, her faith grew and her heart grew from a fear of God to a deeper love of God and a child like trust in God.
Matthew 18:3
"amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."

I believe Catherine had this child like trust in God that is so rare to see. She had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. A strong devotion to Our blessed Mother. She knew her destination. As Fr Shane spoke about her pilgrimage, that journey towards Christ, towards our salvation is available to each one of us. We can all have a place in heaven if we pursue it.
