We have known Catherine for nearly 40 years and have always valued her friendship and kindness to us especially when Brenda was in hospital.

When the new cricket season starts at Lord's we shall miss seeing her already in her favourite seat and finding that she had saved seats for the rest of us. We feel that we know you, her family, from the news she gave us and the many photographs she showed us particularly when there was a new arrival in the family.

We offer you our heartfelt sympathy and will be thinking of you all on Saturday.

Brenda and Eric
I have known Catherine for many years and enjoyed some Middlesex cricket triumphs with her and we have consoled each other when things weren't as good. She was a lovely lady, and I will miss the notes she always put in her Christmas cards to me.
Condolences to all her beloved family.
It was a big shock to hear the sad news about Catherine and my thoughts and sympathy are with all her family and friends. I am pleased to remember so many happy years of friendship, watching cricket at Lord's together and will miss her. Connie.
How fortunate we are to have known and loved Catherine for thirty years or more, and to have shared some wonderful times with her as members of Middlesex Cricket Club - she was always so optimistic about the chances of our team, even when this was not always evident to us! We will hugely miss Catherine at Lord's, wearing her lilac beret in the spring, and white hat in the summer, and the "traditional" box of chocolates she always brought to share with her friends and celebrate the start of another season. Above all we will miss Catherine herself, especially her humour and loving kindness which showed itself three years ago in her joyful support for our Civil Partnership. We send our sympathy and kind thoughts to all Catherine's relatives and friends, and will be thinking of her especially on Saturday: it's been lovely and great fun knowing her. Wen and Alison.
Thank you , Catherine, for your kindness and welcome when we first became members at Middlesex. We will miss you very much . Prayers for your loving family in their loss and may you rest in peace and rise with Christ in glory
We are so sorry to hear of Catherine's passing. We shared many happy hours cheering on Middlesex at Lord's and will miss her company when the new season comes around.
We shall be forever grateful for her love and concern when Peter was so ill, particularly the way she instigated nationwide prayers for him through all her many contacts - prayers which were indeed answered.
We shall also miss her interesting letters.
We shall remember her with love and gratitude.
Peter and Margaret.
With sympathy to all Catherine's beloved family.
Remembering a kind, caring lady who will be greatly missed, especially by fellow supporters of Middlesex Cricket Club.
With deepest sympathy to all Catherine's family and remembering many happy moments following Middlesex cricket.
