My condolences go to Joe and Kay’s family on their passing. I’ve fond memories of both from time spent on the courts in Herbert Park.

I've known Kay for many decades and she worked tirelessly for parks tennis for St Annes and in taking care of Joe, her family and community. Her interest in history and heritage. She was at every CRA AGM that I can remember and will miss her dearly. RIP Kay you left an amazing legacy and you will not be forgotten by your community 🙏

So sorry to hear of Kay’s death. She was a regular attendee at the meetings of the Local History Alumni in Pearse St Library over the years. She was our link to the federation of Irish Local History associations. We will miss her so much.

Kay was such a gentle and very kind lady, her support and friendship to my mother Charlotte was just boundless for which I am truly grateful. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for Kay. My mother always spoke with the highest regard for Kay and Joe and loved their Sunday lunch together. I also loved having a chat with Kay when she came to collect Charlotte with Carmel.
I am so very saddened with the passing of Kay.

It was a great privilege to have had Kay as a friend, neighbour, and fellow parishioner. She was supportive in difficult times and humorous and life-affirming at all times. I bhfochair Dé go raibh sí féin agus Joe.
To Trevor, Adrienne, Catherine, Ralph and the extended family, I was so sorry to hear about your mums passing. Myself and my siblings (David &Jenny) have very fond memories of our summers playing tennis in St Anne’s park and the parks Kit Kat league and we will be forever grateful to your mum for the time and commitment she put into that. She did so much for tennis and growing the sport. She was a lovely person and an inspiration to many, may she rest in peace.

Supportive and encouraging to new ideas , or historical lectures and so stylish . I was in the Lord Mayors Local History Diploma course 2012/3 with Kay , met her at many Alumini meetings afterwards . As chairperson of the Clontarf Historical Society she and her committee worked diligently to keep us informed of our past and share her wealth of knowledge of the Clontarf area . She encouraged involvement in Federation of Local History societies and their tours to interesting parts of the UK . She will be sorely missed . May you Rest in Peace Kay .
