Our sincere sympathies and so sorry that we had to leave the funeral as mum was unwell. She was sad not to be able to stay for such a wonderful friend and to sympathise with you in person. Kay was a warm generous and wonderful woman and we were always so amazed by her kindness to everyone and most especially our mother over many years. She really was a very special lady and an example to us all about how to live life in both joyful and dark times. She will be very much missed.

I am very sorry to hear about Kays death. She was a neighbour and friend to my parents for all their time in Drummartin.

Dear Terri, I was greatly saddened to learn of your mother’s passing. My wife Helen joins me in extending our deepest sympathy. We knew Kay and Walter through his business but mainly through our mutual friends Norman and Matilda Campion. Of course the Cronin sisters were a legend in my An Óige days.
