Kay was a very special person who always had a kind word, a big hug, and a mountain of practical advice for all who needed it.
She had a huge heart, was full of energy, and had a zest for life.
If there was work to be done she was first there to get stuck in and rally the troops.
I remember many great evenings in Ballinteer laughing, while she filled me in on the latest goings on and happenings in her family's lives, stories from Baunmanns, news about her daughters and grandchildren abroad, whom she was fiercely proud of, or showing me her lovely garden.
Such wonderful times........
Thank you for all that you gave and the amazing person you were

Kay came into our lives 21 years ago and we thank God for that - she was the loveliest, kindest and most welcoming person, my boys adored her. We have wonderful memories of weekend visits, day trips, long evenings in watching her beloved Judge Judy and talking until the early hours. Kay had a serious lust for life and nothing was any trouble, she was as happy digging up a garden as she was preparing one of her delicious meals. Her enthusiasm and happiness were infectious, a real people person.
We are devastated at the loss of such a loving and vibrant person in our lives. Thank you Kay for everything - you will always be in our hearts. Love you so much xx
