Catherine McEntee
(née McCabe)

Deepest sympathies to Eddie, Niall and Paula, and also to Paddy, May, Bernie and Joan on Catherine’s unexpected death. She leaves a precious legacy to her immediate and extended family and friends as well as to many others in many walks of life. My own memories, based on growing up within 200 yards of the nine McCabe of the Forge children, are of hearing music and song wafting across the fields, with Catherine’s exceptional voice always much to the fore. May she Rest in Peace, together with pre-deceased members of her family - her parents Jemmy and Mamie, her sisters Dympna, Bridie and Margo and her brother Jim - all of whom I remember frequently and fondly, whether interred in Drumgoon Old Graveyard, elsewhere in Ireland or abroad.
