Sincere condolences to all the family. We met Catherine in 2013 when she graciously hosted a tour of Straid church, Clonmany. The 2013 Morrison Gathering was the culmination of a search for my roots, ending in Donegal, I had never heard about it's connection to my family and the love and feeling of belonging was instantanious. The warmth of Catherine's greeting and her contribution on the first visit to Straid Church cemented my affection for place and people. It was a pleasure to meet her as we explored family, dined in Strand Hotel and walked the roads of our forefathers, Catherine guiding us with her knowledge and joy of what is, her place too. With gratitude to have known her, brief as it was. May she rest in peace. Maryrose and Ed.
Dear Carmel, sincere condolences to you, your dad and all your family on the passing of your mother. May she rest in peace. Kind Regards, Sheila & family.

Thinking of you all at this sad time and praying that you'll be given strength in the days that lie ahead! Have many memories of the Salmon Leap - good food, good company and good craic'. The Mitchell Brothers were there playing and Catherine always was so pleasant and charming, seeing that you got a seat! Memories that no one can take from you all!

Dear Uncle James and all the girls,
Thinking of you all at this heartbreaking time. Auntie Catherine always stands out in my mind as a very elegant, beautiful woman who always remained so poised even when raising such a big clan and working so hard. I remember getting lost in my encyclopaedias which were always a welcome Christmas gift. I have Auntie Catherine to thank for my love of fashion and makeup which stemmed from a Mary Quant book.
I feel heartbroken she’ll not get the send off she deserves with the current restrictions in place but I know many people will be there in spirit, thinking if you all. Love Susie
