I was deeply saddened to hear of Catherine's passing. She was a kind and inspiring woman who tutored me through my exams and provide pastoral care for a troubled 18 year old. I will always remember her driving me on the weekends to Westport, chatting away about life and the Connemara Mussel Festival. My sincerest condolences to her family.

Very sorry to hear the sad news of Catherine's death. We were fortunate to have met and spent time with Catherine, some years ago, when she agreed to provide additional maths coaching. We have never forgotten her patience, energy, kindness and commitment and will always be immensely grateful to her for the difference she made to our lives. Our thoughts are with Ciara, Eimear and Aoife and all those close to Catherine.

Catherine with Marty’s Mussels was a powerhouse in the Irish food scene and promotion of Connemara and the west of Ireland. She was a great friend to GMIT whenever we had an educational event on Irish Food. This is an incredibly difficult time- thinking of you all with heartfelt condolences.
