Catherine was chairperson of our Board of Management for many years and she was a great friend to all the staff and children therein. Her dedication, commitment and kindness to everyone was unfaltering and she was a wonderful role model of integrity and compassion. She had a great, positive presence in our school and we know that in the last two years since she became ill, that she kept a caring eye on us all from her lifelong home on Strawberry Hill.
She has left a wonderful legacy of the power of education and we will miss her so much.
