My sincerest condolences to Larry, Michael, JJ and their respective families. The Flanagan family has always spoken highly of Aunty Vera and appreciate tremendously her kindness to my mother and siblings. As the youngest of 10 children I value the happy memories of time spent in the family home in Finglas. Aunty Vera was a kind and compassionate lady. Rest in peace.
Very sorry to learn of Dear Vera's passing, she was a lovely lady, such a character and a pleasure to care for, we all loved calling to see Vera. Sincere sympathies to Larry and all Vera's family and friends, may she rest in peace.

Vera was an exceptional lady
who had a heart of gold. She welcomed everyone into her home and looked after us so well.
My visits to the Mc Cabe family are forever in my memories and the lovely times we spent there. Even our friends were made welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We went to mass with her and bingo and the shops. We never had as much food as Vera gave us. She was so good to Mammy and all of our family.
I’m glad I got to see her in later years and got to talk to her and look at the many photographs she has of everyone who came to their home. She has some collection. I wish her peace and ever lasting rest in the arms of the angels. Nuala

Aunty Vera was so good to me growing up, she took me and my brother Kevin on our first trip on a train to the beach at bray and it’s one of my favourite memories of my childhood.
She was loved by all my family especially my Mam Mary Jo.
