Although they didn't see much of each other as the years passed, they always exchanged Christmas cards until my Mam passed away in 2015.

To Gerard, Brenda and all the family, I send my condolences on the loss of dear Cathleen. She and Sean were lifetime friends to the Morris family. We have the fondest memories of their hospitality, good humour and loyalty down the years. Cathleen was a gorgeous person and she will be sadly missed. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Cathleen’s passing. I know she hasn’t been well for a while., and the last time,I saw her was during the 1916 celebrations. Cathleen was always so nice and a very gentle lady.
