I’m shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic loss of Cathy. I enjoyed a lovely chat with Cathy and Ann at a cafe in Westport last September when I was home on holidays from Australia. It was lovely to reconnect after alot of years and exchange family news. Cathy was such a warm and vibrant person.

I was so shocked and truly saddened to read of Cathy’s passing last Tuesday evening on Galway RIP.
To Ronnie, William, Isabelle, her adorable Grandchildren, brothers and sisters and to the extended Hughes and Greene Families and to all her friends, , I wish to express my Sincere Sympathy to you all.
So glad I got to watch her Funeral Mass on line yesterday. Cathy was given a beautiful farewell by you all.
I will light a candle for Cathy and when I’m walking the prom, I will remember her.
Hoping the beautiful happy memories you all have of Cathy and her smile will help you all in the days and weeks ahead.

Very sorry to read today of Cathy's untimely passing. I had the pleasure of meeting her in the Galway Walking Club where she was well liked and respected. Unfortunately, as I was away and was unable to attend her funeral. My sincere sympathies to the her family and especially to Joe and Anne.
