To Cathy’s beloved family, I want to extend my deepest condolences for your loss. I can only imagine the immense pain of losing Cathy, someone so radiant, so full of life. Please know that my heart is with you.

I met Cathy through my husband, Roger, and from the moment we met, something clicked. Maybe it was our shared Celtic roots, or maybe it was just Cathy’s magic. She welcomed me into her life with such warmth and light. When I was settling into New York, she helped make it feel like home.
We shared so many beautiful moments, chatting in the city, relaxing in the Hamptons, celebrating together in France. She was at our wedding, and she caught my bouquet, of course she did! That moment felt so right, so full of joy. Cathy had a way of making everything feel enchanted.
I always told her she was a fairy, she was bright, an otherworldly being, kind, mischievous, luminous and more.
Though life took us to different places, I always carried her in my heart, loving her from afar and trusting we’d meet again one day. I still can’t quite believe she’s gone. Maybe this world was simply too small for her light.

Thank you for sharing her with the world. Her presence made it better, for me certainly, and for so many others.

Our hearts go out to Maura and the entire Heskin and Duddy families during this very difficult time. It has been a shock for all with Cathys sudden passing. She was taken far too soon but she lives on in the hearts of all who loved her.
Cathy was an extraordinary person who touched the lives of so many people. Her kindness and thoughtfulness will be deeply missed. She went far and beyond to help all those in need. During Covid she called several times during a eight week span when I was very ill. She offered great medical advice to help with my recovery. We are all forever grateful for her kindness and compassion.
God has called one of his angels home. May Cathy rest in eternal peace with our Lord.🙏

My deepest condolences on the sudden passing of Cathy. I was shocked to hear the news. I first met Cathy when we were both training for a marathon – we were in central park and were running alongside each other, slowing down a bit as we approached a hill. We both said hi, and heard the Irish accents, and then discovered that we were both from Mayo! What a small world! Since then, we had many fun adventures on foot and by bicycle over the years. I know how much she will be missed. Sending you all love and strength during these very difficult times.

I was so shocked and deeply saddened to hear that gorgeous Cathy had passed away...it was far far too soon. I had the privilege of living in Galway with Cathy for a short time and we shared some unforgettable experiences in India also. We both did a Reiki course and a yoga retreat together. Cathy had such a kind, generous and fun-loving spirit. She really was a special kind of person.. Her laughter, warmth and openess touched everyone around her. It’s so hard to believe she’s gone so soon. I’ll always treasure the memories we made together and am so glad to have known her. Sending love and strength to her family and all who are grieving her beautiful soul.
