I am saddened to learn of Cathy’s death and send my sincere sympathy to her family and friends. I had the privilege to serve with Cathy, on the board of Waterford MABS and it was a pleasure to work with her. She gave so generously of her time as Chairperson and had a wonderful capacity to work with colleagues. She lit up the room with her warm personality and wit but was always efficient and effective when we got down to business. Her energy was amazing as she was also giving so much time to her work with St Vincent de Paul. I believe Cathy’s good deeds will go with her and ensure a special place in Heaven. She leaves a wonderful legacy to the family, of whom she always spoke so lovingly and the many people she helped in her life. R.I.P.
