It was with such tremendous sadness that I learned of Cathirona’s passing. Words fail me as I try to imagine your sorrow and pain and that of your children. Cathirona was a beautiful person and she and all of you are in my thoughts continuously at this terrible time.

My deepest sympathy to Mary and Simon on the death of your lovely daughter Cathirona may her gentle soul rest in peace.
Catriona was such a kind and gentle soul, always had a smile for everyone. She was such a good friend and we had many happy times together. She fought her long battle with such strength and bravery, I often wondered how she did it. Her world revolved around Kevin, Brian and Kate and they made her so proud. My sincerest condolences to Kevin, Brian and Kate, her Mum & Dad and her brothers and sisters and their families. She will be sadly missed by so many.
My dearest oldest friend, I am heartbroken. You were beautiful inside and out xxx We went to school together in Old Leighlin, then secondary school and even worked in Dublin at the same time and came home together every Friday evening on the bus and we were at each others weddings. I always loved meeting you for coffee and will so miss you my beloved friend. You were a great Mammy and wife and they all adored you.
I am going to miss you so much Catriona.

To one of my oldest & dearest friends, you were such a wonderful positive person. You knew what was important in life - your family and the love you shared for each other. You fought the battle with such strength and bravery. My sincere condolences to Kevin and your wonderful children whom you were so proud of.
