Cecil Steed

Thinking of Ena, Larry and Fr Bernie and extended family at this lonely time. We lived next door to Cecil for a few years. We had many a chat. Later Cecil completed a computer course with me in the Adult class of Dunmore Community School. He was determined to master the computer and he did.

Sincere sympathy to Cecils family on your sad loss, before our heroic footballers John and Pateen, Seamus and the Keenan's and Bosco put Dunmore back again on top of the sporting world, Cecil had already done it. I saw him win All-Irelands under NACA rules in Laught on the grass track at their famous sports, as punishing a cycle race as could possibly be but no bother to Cecil. You made us proud. Rest in Peace Cecil.
