My wonderful Uncle Cecil
Such wonderful memories of you throughout my childhood and the best memory coming to see you and Aunty Joan as a surprise with Mum in late 2018. You were sitting in the reception area and I came over to you and you just opened your arms to me and we both got very emotional but so lovely to see you and remember such happy times.
My love to Aunty Joan and all my cousins - thinking of you all at this time and you are all in our prayers

On behalf of all at Cricket Leinster, our sympathies to Joan and all the Medcalf family on the sad passing of your dear husband, Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad.
As you would expect, we have received many messages from people within the cricket community expressing their affection for and fond memories of your Dad (which we will pass on to Karl).
From my personal perspective, he is synonymous with YM and its values as a club - I remember him so well from my days there as a boy and latterly when I had the opportunity to share a bench with him on occasions for a lovely 'cricket' chat - a great man who leaves behind such a positive legacy.
May he rest in peace.
