To all the Commins family and to Sonny and Bridgie and their family, our most sincere sympathy,on the loss of Cissie. I remember her as always having that gentle smile.I never saw her without it. I remember her so very fondly, always so kind and soft spoken. I have a story about Cissie that I have been telling for years especially to the younger generation. When I emigrated to the USA in 1957, I was a teenager with a very limited ward robe and even less money. I found a remnant of a lovely tweed material in one of the shops in Galway,reduced to a fraction of the original cost I took it to Cissie who turned it into a very beautiful skirt for me at no charge to me for her time or talent. I wore and cherished that skirt for many years.It was one of the only two outfits I had in my suitcase when I left Ireland.My appreciation and gratitude for Cissies kindness to me has only grown over the years. I have heard that we only get to take with us what we have given away.My hope is thatJesus greeted Cissie with arm loads of her kind and generous deeds and the joy she spread while on this earth. May she rest in peace
