Cecilia O'CONNOR

Cecilia was a delightful lady. She was my mum's best friend from age of about 14. She used to come over to visit us regularly, especially at Easter, and these visits were some of the brightest spots throughout my childhood. She was so loved by so many and was a huge part of my life growing up. I was priveleged to be able to see her a few times in recent years and I will miss those visits. A very sad loss.

Our deepest condolences. Cecelia was a lovely, kind woman and always chatted to the kids. She had an independent spirit and loved her garden and her cats. We missed her terribly in the last few years. The road wasn’t the same without her and we’re so sad to hear of her passing. At dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

So very sorry to hear my lovely gentle friend Cecilia passed away this morning. As I am away on holiday from tomorrow I called to Four Ferns today instead to have our usual chat in the garden. I will miss those chats, about history, travel and Dublin of long ago. I enjoyed her honest opinion along with her sense of humour. I am really sorry to miss Cecilia's funeral Mass I would have been there to pay my respects to a lovely lady may she Rest In Peace.
