Charles (Charlie) Brohoon

I was very surprised and saddened to hear of Charlie's death. I knew him for many years in the Councils. He was a very cultured and, as mentioned in previous notices, a humorous man. It was a great pleasure to work with him.

We were truly saddened to hear of Charlie's passing. A most wonderful man, wise, hard working and compassionate- he used to have us in stitches with his drole sense of humour and quick wit.
We both had the height of respect for Charlie and have very fond memories of working with him in Fingal County Council.

I remember Charlie from his days in Dublin County Council's Community Department and in later years he was my boss in the Housing Department of Fingal County Council. In recent times we often met in the supermarket and he would tell me all about his much loved granddaughters.
