Louise and all the Devlin Family our sincere condolences on the death of your Dad. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to all the Devlin Family . Your father sailed with my father in Irish Shipping. He was a very nice man and he helped me a great deal in my Marine Engineering career at various stages of my life and I will always remember him.

I was so sorry to hear the very sad news and send my condolences. I remember Charlie well when I visited your home as a school girl, he always amused me particularly on one occasion when he and some of his pals were chucked out of a pub and he was well put out. I hope that all the good memories come back to you in time and help to ease your loss. Rita x

While I never met Charlie, I know for certain he has to have been a great man, in that he and his wife gave Alameda, California the gift of Anne and Rebecca, and for that we will be eternally grateful. My thoughts and prayers go to the whole family.
