I worked with Charlie for 14 years in the Naval Dockyard and he was a true gentleman.
He was a wonderfully warm character, full of charisma, fun and he truly loved a prank.
His years in the army shone true like a beacon, as he always looked so immaculate.
To this day I recall how I could see my reflection off his shoes, they were always so shiny.
He was so proud of all his children and frequently spoke about you all in glowing terms
and how your careers were going, which gave him great satisfaction and happiness.
Charlie enriched so many people with his personality and that great infectious smile of his. RIP my friend.
