Charlie was a Genuine Nice Fellow, who was always up for the Crack, i was in the Same Class As Charlie In Summer Hill, College, I Don’t Know How He did In the Leaving, But I failed it, I think, it doesn’t matter Charlie Townsend - a True Gent, he was full of Honest to Goodness fun,. Sadly Missed, Declan Melody, Ballina.

I am so saddened by Charlie's untimely death.
Such a gentleman and so good at his work. He definetly had healing hands and you never left without a joke and a laugh.
The rugby lads ,my family and indeed myself all had such great time for Charlie and we all were the better off for a visit to the surgery
