Dear Imelda and Joseph and all the family
So saddened to hear that your lovely gentle Dad has passed away. Your mum and dad and all your family shared a very close friendship with my parents and family growing up and over the years. I have such wonderful fond memories of our trips to Virginia when we were kids and the excitement that we personally knew the Garda Sargent! We always had great adventures in Virginia especially down by the lake.
Your father was such a kind person, he was a pure gentleman and the biggest Donegal supporter I've ever met!

Meath would have been to his In Service classes in Carrickmacross and Monaghan down the years .He was a real gentleman and made the classes enjoyable with his stories . Sad to hear this news of the passing of a great Donegal Rosses and Tubberkeen man.
A great mentor during my time stationed in Monaghan town. Hid inservice classes made boring stuff interesting! Proud to have had the honour of knowing him and serving with him.Always interested in all things Donegal. A former class made of my late father John in St.Eunans Letterkenny and neighbour as well.
