I've very fond memories of time spent in Bantry as a child. Chuck was gentle person. Eyes that lit up as he told a story, wry sense of humour and simple enjoyment of life. I used to eavesdrop as the adults told their stories and listened to his intelligent and thoughtful
observations. He showed great kindness to us all. What a legacy he has left. I'm sure you will all miss him tremendously. May he rest in peace.
