Condolences to the O'Brien family. Charlie was my lecturer in Bolton st. In 1988 and encouraged me back into a fulltime degree course. One of lifes gentlemen. May he rest in peace.

Charles was my first lecturer in Bolton St. when I joined the Technicians course in
1975 & was a staff colleague later on
when I joined in 1987.
He was the nicest man & I cannot remember a better person to work with young people.

As a young girl I remember he once gave me a huge Fine Fail poster which I was instructed to put in the front window of the house to wind my parents up!! Thinking of you all at this very sad time. My memory of him from seeing him in our shop on his trips west is of a very distinguished gentleman with a beautiful smile. All your memories of him now become precious treasures. Angela, Aedeen, Cathal and extended family, we are so sorry to hear of Vincent’s passing. He was always so cheerful, smiling and ready for a chat. Mum & Dad fondly recall the many times he would stop for a chat when they were in the garden. Mum especially remembers Vincent as a reader at Mass, when she was organising the rota he was always obliging as the emergency contact to step in when needed. I do hope your fond memories bring you comfort at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
