Hi Big fella we are gonna miss you but we remember you and we will never forget you. Thanks for all your efforts to teach Ed to bat. Shame he never got the hang of it. Thanks for teaching Sue to guzzle Long Island Ice Teas. She has got the hang of it now. Thanks a million for all the great times our families shared. Never forgotten. Love from us all X

Words cannot begin to express the sadness we feel about the passing of dear Charles , far too early . Our hearts go out to you all .
Fleur and Lavinia have such happy memories growing up next door, in Rottingdean ,to the sweet ,blonde smiling little boy.
I remember him climbing over the wall into our back garden and suddenly appearing in my kitchen asking for a snack ( he knew where my snack cupboard was and I couldn’t resist his little smile ) We will always remember him with huge fondness.
You are all very much in our thoughts .

Dear Jackie and family, I was shocked to hear of Charles’ sudden passing. I met him first as part of the BoI graduate recruitment interviews and he impressed from the start. In later meetings he always met me with a big smile and friendly comment. He was a real gentle man. As a parent I can’t imagine what you are going through at this awful time. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Charles.

Me and my brothers have such fond memories of Charles, most of which involved trading ‘The Simpsons’ VHS tapes and playing basketball in our driveway. Greatest sympathies to all the family - such a sad sad loss. We pray that the good lord and great comforter will comfort all the Noakes family, Charles's girlfriend, and his friends. As neighbours to Charles and his family, we have known him for the past 20 years and know what a wonderful and kind person he was. We remember the first day he came our house when we moved here and he asked 'Kayte, where is your playroom ?' Kayte said - would dont have a playroom Charles which he thought quite strange !!! Kayte gave him lemonade and he said 'Oh this lemonade is so nice, where did you buy it from ? So I said Lidl ! Charles said, 'What is Lidl and where is it ? I'll get my Mum and Dad to go there and buy some'. That is how Charles is - always polite, friendly, kind compassionate and a pleasure to be around. May he rest in perfect peace and we will miss him so much, but we are greatful that we had the pleasure of knowing him, and we will always be there if we are ever needed. Charles, we love you and adore you. The world will not be the same without our Charles - but we have wonderful memories. Rest in peace. Amen.
