My deepest sympathy to Charlie's family on the sad passing of a kind & gentle man. It was a privilege to have known him. May his noble soul rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of meeting Charlie in 1999 for a rugby tour and from the outset he was the life and soul of the group. He was always telling jokes and was great company to be around. May he rest in peace and my condolences to all his family.

Charlie was a great and enthusiastic coach of the Club youth teams for many years. He was always great company and a gentleman. We will miss him in the Irishman's on big match days for his store of witty comments and great sense of fun.

Deepest sympathies to the O’ Malley family on the passing of a true gentleman that is Charlie O’ Malley. I recall growing up in Monacurragh and Charlie was always a kind level headed man that knew exactly what to do and when to do it. He was a strong character not to be messed with. A man of firm principles and honest integrity. I remember the Halloween games in his kitchen, Charlie could hold his breath in a basin of water for quite some time. He brought us to Wrestle Mania in the Point Depot as a kid I’ll never forget it, best day ever. Charlie looked after everyone on nights out, many an interesting conversation had in that taxi as he got me home in one piece. May you rest in piece Charlie.
