During our conversations it was always clear that being a father and a good example to others was something that was very important to him, something he strived and worked towards. Saddened to hear of Charlie's passing. Enjoyed many a coffee break with him during my time working along side him in Walker's. A quietly knowledgable and talented mechanic, and a kind warm hearted soul when he got to know you, which belied his tough, no nonsense, approach to work. When all was under control, I enjoyed his good humor and wit. One of the best, I'll miss him.
